  • I would like to book a session, what do I do?"
    You can actually book directly on the website for most sessions! Check out the Pricing and Booking page and click on the type of session you are interested in. There will be a "book" button that will take you to our calendar so you can select the perfect date and time for you! A few sessions that require more prep or travel time will need to be booked through email, and those sessions will have those instructions.
  • I booked my session, now what do I do?"
    You can check out the "Customizing Your Session" page to pick out your backdrops and outfits that we have available for studio sessions. There is also a form on that page that you can complete and your preferences will be sent directly to our email!
  • What communication will I receive before my session?
    You will receive a contract from Shootproof that outlines some of the studio rules. The contract must be signed before your session. You will also receive a confirmation email the week prior to your session. You are also welcome to email or message Marie Photography on facebook anytime!
  • Where do I go for my session?
    If your session is outdoor, you will receive a detailed confirmation email the week prior to your session. If your session is in the studio, please park in one of the parking spots to the left once you enter the property. The studio entrance is up a tree-lined path directly across from the parking area.
  • I booked a full or mini studio session, what are my options?"
    We have an extensive catalog of backdrops available! We also have some outfits available for children and maternity sessions as well. Please review the catalogs on the customization page before your session. We often store items outside of the studio and we can only guarantee that something is available if you ask beforehand. The number of backdrop/outfit changes depends on the session, and you can find that information on each respective sessions page under "booking".
  • I booked a newborn session, what are my options?"
    We ask that clients let us know 2-3 colors that they would like incorporated into your session. If you have any specific themes such as aviator, princess, floral, outdoor, boho, etc please let us know that too! We do not have a catalog of our newborn props as we have so many! If you have seen something specific in our galleries that you would like, please let us know.
  • I booked a cake smash or ultimate session, what are my options?"
    We have all of our backdrops posted under "customize your session". You can also browse previous session photos on the cake smash booking page. We try to make each session unique, and we avoid copying a session exactly. If you would like a very specific theme and we do not have the items for it, we may ask you to bring some with you to your session. We need to know your theme at least a week in advance so that we have enough time to order your cake, If your child has food allergies, you can bring your own cake for a $20 discount.
  • After my session, how do I pay?"
    To streamline our paperwork for tax purposes we will send you an online invoice through Quickbooks. You can choose to pay with an ACH transfer (electronic check), or with a debit/credit card. We can not accept checks, paypal, venmo, or cashapp payments.
  • How do I get my images after my session?
    One to two weeks after your session you will receive an online gallery where you can view all of the images taken from your session. You will get to download a set number of photos included with your session. We do offer the choice to purchase the entire gallery for an additional $100. From your online gallery there is also the opportunity to purchase archival quality prints.
  • Can I bring our dog to the studio?
    We love including the family dog in photos! They are always welcome at outdoor sessions. If you would like to bring a pet into the studio, we do have a $50 cleaning fee that will be applied.
