Newborn Customization Catalog

With every newborn session we try to get poses of baby on 2 different colored blankets with wraps, hats, headbands, and newborn outfits. (we have a large selection of these in the studio)

We will also try to get photos of baby in 2-3 newborn props such as a basket, bowl, or bucket, wreath, or large fur.

We do have a few larger props in the studio as well such as a carriage, moon, train, airplane, and boat.

Baby does best between 6-14 days old and when they are fed and sleepy when they come into the studio. We may have to pause during the shoot for milk breaks.

We have a waiting room with couches and a coffee machine for parents to relax in during the newborn shoot. Even though baby has only been here a short time, they can already recognize the sounds of your voices and your smell.

Photos of baby are done at the beginning of the session when baby is more sleepy from the ride to the studio, and sibling and family photos are done at the end. Some families choose to have 1 parent come after 1 hour of shooting to bring the siblings if they aren't able to wait.

Newborn Customization Form

To customize your newborn session you can let us know what colors you like or don't like, if you like outfits and wraps, and if you like props or prefer baby just wrapped.

If you are also adding family photos on, you can choose a family backdrop or we also have simple black, white, and ivory colored paper backdrops. We also have a white lifestyle space with a bed or bench.

We suggest that as a family you select one or 2 colors to coordinate your outfits and avoid busy prints so the focus can remain on baby.
